About the Event

Spirit of The Kindred Women's Medicine Gathering has been put together to create a safe space to gather and heal, not only ourselves, but also our planet. We have managed to find some of the most wonderful, female teachers from all parts of this world to come together and offer their wisdom and medicine to us.We will be offereing Classes & work shops about growing Mushrooms,medicinal benefits of Fungi,medicinal qualities of plants and how to make herbal medicine, working with the energetic properties of the green world, harvesting consciously, women sexual empowerment, wise women body knowledge from puberty to menopause, yoga, meditation,belly dance & butoh, massage,Aurevedic medicine,How different cultures use plants, and so much more! There will be multiple classes per hour to choose from so everyone can find what best fits them and their intention of being here. Our goal is to create a space where each women can find the medicine in which they are seeking and leave here feeling a little more empowered. This is more than just an herbal conference-This is a space dedicated to sharing and educating about different cultures, beliefs, and ideas. A place for powerful women to gather and celebrate in song, dance, and creation! Our goal is that when you leave here, you have a medicine bag full of lessons that help you navigate both the outside world and your own inner landscape. Though our daily lives may be full of constant movement may we always find serenity in the peace we feel among our fellow sisters and tribe. Bless Up to all!     Experience healing through creating with wild materials, sharing stories and weaving a vessel that holds metaphors of your unique journey.We’ll begin our time together by weaving the container of our community before diving into a day of working with inner bark harvested from local trees to make a simple and beautiful basket. You will learn about the seasonality of basket making and harvesting processes & the different steps &techniques that are used to create form and create you own basket!
